Registered Nurse (RN Inpatient) Pulmonary Medicine/Thoracic Surgery Seattle, WA 36 hours/week Day Shift; 7:00am - 7:30pm

This is a twenty-seven bed inpatient medical/surgical unit with a pulmonary specialty. Primary Nursing is the patient care philosophy in collaboration with patients, families, and all professional disciplines. Nursing staff are experts in respiratory assessment and management of patients experiencing thoracic surgery. Care is provided for patients ranging in age from young adult through older adult. The patient population includes those with: COPD, TB, thoracic surgery, ENT surgery, Cystic Fibrosis, and Asthma.
Required Qualifications: Current WA State RN license; one year Inpatient, Acute Care or Medical Surgical RN work experience. Preferred Qualifications: Post-op Thoracotomy & Respiratory/Pulmonary care experience.
