Exciting and rapidly growing medical device com! pany, has several opportunities available for experienced Cardiology Clinical Consultants. We continue to expand our sales reach geographically in Cath labs and surgery suites throughout the United States.
The Clinical Consultant works closely with the Regional Sales Manager in an assigned territory to promote the understanding and use of the organizations exciting breakthrough heart pump. This role is also responsible for providing Cath Lab training and patient support when required.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
Patient Support: Improve patient outcomes through education and medical staff interaction. Visit all institutions where patients have been equipped with circulatory assist devices, collect patient data, document trip results, and communicate activities with other team members and sales counterpart.
Account Training / Account Management: Responsible for ongoing training and utilization growth at assigned ! accounts. Coordinate activities with sales counterpart and doc! ument results of each trip. Manage customer education for new and existing accounts.
Education/Clinical Demos: Arrange or assist in coordinating on site clinical demos to educate all levels of the medical staff.
Skills/Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a health care discipline (RN or Perfusionist preferred).
At least 2.5 years of critical care experience the Cath lab.
Prior experience working in a commercial setting is REQUIRED.
Hands on experience providing patient support.
Desire to achieve success in a commercial setting introducing new technology.
Availability to support the emergent patient.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Fluency with public speaking and platform training.
Highly developed organizational skills.
