Full-time Shift: Evening Job Category: Surgical Services Nursing Location: Washington-Seattle DescriptionWhere you work matters! Swedish Medical Cent! er is looking for a Surgical Facilitator at First Hill in Seattle, Washington. The Surgical Facilitator is responsible for a smooth efficient case turnover by assisting the surgical team before, during and after the surgical procedure. In this position you will: work as a member of the surgical team under the supervision of a registered nurse, with the surgeon, anesthesiologist, and other medical support personnel to provide patient care in a manner consistent with the mission, vision and values of the Surgical Services department and Swedish Medical Center.
Qualifications Required qualifications for this position include: High School diploma or equivalent Certificate of completion of a Surgical Technology vocational program or equal education and training Registration with the Washington State Department of Heath CPR Provider certification Experience as a surgical technician or other clinical professional in a tertiary operating room with demonstrated skills in ha! ndling instruments and equipment Working knowledge of medical ! terminology, surgical equipment and instrumentation Preferred qualifications for this position include: National certification as a Surgical Technologist Demonstrated experience in facilitating or coordinating in a complex environment About the First Hill Campus. The 697-bed tertiary-care center on the Swedish/First Hill campus is the flagship of the Swedish health-care system.
