Description
Scrub in for designated surgeries and carry out general O.R. duties, adhering to Group Health preoperative nursing care standards, Group Health policies and contract agreements. Collect data and prepare for surgery in accordance with surgeons direction or preference. Select and prepare supplies and equipment. Establish and maintain a sterile field.
Qualifications
Education
Minimum Education Requirements
Vocational School/Certificate Prog Graduate of approved school of Surgical Technology or equivalent Armed Forces
training.
Knowledge/Skills
Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements
Basic or limited Able to stand for long periods of time, able to life twenty-five (25) pounds.
Experience
Minimum Experience Requirements
2 years Current continuous O.R. experience in surgical specialty.
License/Certifications
Mi! nimum License/Certifications Requirements
At time of ! hire BCLS.
Preferred License/Certifications
Able to obtain shortly after hire Professional affiliation and certification.
