As part of our Impact24 strategy, next to strengthening and growing our Core business further, Ageas wants to pursue new opportunities for Growth, amongst others by entering into partnerships with Digital platforms.

We are now looking for a Growth Hacker to help grow our Digital Platforms’ business alongside the Strategy / Business Development Lead, Product & Proposition Development Lead and Tech Dev Lead.

“Do you want insurance with that?” We are building an Insurance as a Platform with API enabling digital platforms to distribute insurance seamlessly embedded in the customer’s digital journey with their trusted brand. Think 'One-Click Insurance' and being able to present customers with a “do you want insurance with that?” button when they open a bank account, apply for a loan or credit card, buy a smartphone, book a trip or take out a weekly gym pass.

In addition to insurance embedded in digital journeys, some of our digital platform partners are also interested in selling insurance on a stand alone basis end-to-end online (e.g. in-app but not in-journey) or even through hybrid journeys (e.g. online-to-offline or offline-to-online)

Je functie

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the overall sales performance optimisation vision of the Digital platforms initiative by overseeing all aspects of digital marketing and sales performance optimisation.
  • Managing the end to end execution of sales performance optimisation deliverables and achieving best-in-class / best-in-market outcomes as part of the approved MVP design & implementation projects, in collaboration with the relevant Opco and Digital Platform teams and with the chosen solution provider.
  • Ensuring consistent best practices, processes, and procedures and demonstrating thought leadership in segmentation and targeting, customer journey design, UX/UI design, digital marketing, campaign and leads management for digital platforms.
  • Develop strategies to leverage our digital platform partners’ customer base in each of the selected verticals, and execute initiatives based on marketing data and user feedback – in collaboration with the other Ageas Digital Platforms Leads – to maximize penetration rates, optimize customer experience, conversion rates and revenue streams.
  • Analyse, recommend, and oversee the execution of quality-improvement programs, provide expertise and feedback to improve the efficacy of marketing activities.
  • Using data, analytics and other tools to inform decisions and growth strategies, including reporting on initiatives, sales funnels and projects
  • Working together with the solution provider and other teams (Opco, digital platform partner) to discuss ideas, generate hypotheses, perform tests, analyse, receive input, and report results.
  • Keep up with the latest trends and developments in UI/UX and digital marketing.
  • Become a member of the initial founding team, with all the benefits afforded to an early stage employee

Je profiel

As our Growth Hacker / Sales Performance Optimisation Lead you will have:

  • 4+ years background, and demonstrated track record in a growth marketing role with hands-on full-cycle growth or performance marketing experience
  • Previous experience with sales performance optimisation in regulated markets, preferably insurance
  • Understanding of – and preferably experience with – various insurance sales models (embedded, standalone, online-to-offline, offline-to-online)
  • Expertise at translating complex ideas into simple, exciting, viral content that people will share
  • Knowledge of growth-hacking tools, such as automation and campaign monitoring platforms
  • Hands-on experience with and track record of direct marketing and EDM
  • Excellent communication and copywriting skills
  • A high degree of user empathy and actively seek to test, learn and iterate based on user feedback, strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Advanced stakeholder management skills: don’t forget here we are creating a new growth engine in an existing traditional company, with a strong core operation. Your internal stakeholders are situated in different operating companies in countries in Europe & Asia, and you will be dealing with external stakeholders at potential partners and service providers
  • Experience with managing multiple vendors and working with remote / distributed Scrum teams – this is essential
  • Thrive in uncertainty - ideally in an agency business and/or startup environment
  • Solid understanding of analytics tools (GA) and design tools (e.g. Adobe Photoshop and Figma), appetite for experimenting with new technologies and tools to drive innovation and creativity

  • You are fluent in English and preferably speak another 1 or 2 languages
