YOUR TASKS

  • Responsible for all HR related topics for DHL Brussels Hub, being able to work hands-on with a small team of 7 direct reports, being involved and executing all the details of the employee lifecycle.
  • Operating within the Senior Management Team of our Hub, you follow up on processes and projects to transfer and initiate the relevant HR measures and actions.
  • Have an active role within employee relations, including the workers council.
  • Design Personnel policy and guidelines, and show a hands-on strategy in cooperation with the operational stakeholders.
  • Ensure an adequate talent management (attract – retain – develop), as this is the hatchery for our manager and professionals.
  • Review and strengthen the integration management and change management within the organization.
  • Give clear guidelines and goals to direct reports in Recruiting, Payroll & Administration, Compensation & Benefits, Labor Relations as well as Training & Development.
  • Manage, coordinate and implement different HR projects (such as working time models, company pension scheme etc.).
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR and legal development and trends.
  • Keep control of the HR Budget.
  • You implement all strategic and staff related policies of Deutsche Post DHL and DHL Express.
  • Define personal targets, identify training needs, carry out performance evaluations.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Minimum of 10+ years solid experience of operating in a generalist HR role, with demonstrated success in partnering the business at a senior management executive level in a complex international environment.
  • Masters Degree in HR, Law, Business Administration, Economics with profound HR Generalist/ Functional experience.
  • Pragmatic and solution-oriented, capable of delivering good results under pressure within a 24/7 environment.
  • Ability to think innovative to drive efficiency, standardization and promote change in processes.
  • Ability to solve complex, cross-cultural issues using persuasiveness and influencing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate at all organizational levels
  • Strong project management, planning and organizational skills.
