SURGICAL TECHNICIAN- PER DIEM-BREMERTON

Description: Harrison Medical Center is employing SURGICAL TECHNICIAN- PER DIEM-BREMERTON right now, this position will be placed in Washington. Detailed specification about this position opportunity please give attention to these descriptions. Responsible for the preoperative planning and preparation for surgical intervention, individualized to meet the needs of each patient and his/her surgeon, applying age-specific guidelines. Scrubs on all surgical specialties, aids in the preparation and discharge of the surgical patient, including patient transport and transfer. Participates in Q.A. improvement activities, meets certification and educational requirements and demonstrates knowledge and compliance with the AST Standards of Practice and AORN's Standards and Recommended Practices. Minimum requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology or Military Surgical Technologist Program. Must posses current Basic Life Support card (BLS). Minimum Experience: One year surgical technologist experience in all surgical specialties.
