PeaceHealth Medical Group / Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington is actively seeking Trauma Surgeon candidates to join our Trauma and Acute Care Surgery program .
PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center is a 450-bed regional and community, not-for-profit medical center with Level II trauma designation.
Position offers exciting growth opportunities in this new Acute Care Surgery program.
Collegial team currently includes 4 other Trauma/ACS Surgeon! s and 2 PA’s with plans for expansion to a full complement o! f 8 Trauma/ACS Surgeons and 6 PA’s
Our Trauma Service is among the top performers in the State based on trauma registry with Trauma volumes of 2200 patients per year.
Opportunities for assisting in Thoracic and Vascular Surgery cases
Potential for teaching of Trauma/ACS fellows from OHSU
Opportunities to lead and participate in clinical research
Potential for development of a Surgical Critical Care program

QUALIFICATIONS
Seeking applicants who possess:
Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery
Surgical Critical Care Fellowship trained
ATLS Certification
Washington State medical licensure (or ability to obtain)
2-3 years' experience preferred
