Group is currently looking for a Nurse Practitioner (or PA) experienced in Cardiothoracic Surgery to join its friendly team of two cardiac surgeons. It is a dynamic program located in the beautiful Inland Northwest in Spokane, Washington State. The applicant will be expected to be primarily responsible for pre-operative and post-operative patient evaluations (outpatient clinic, wards and ICU) and first assisting ! in the operating room (including endoscopic vein harvesting). ! Ideal candidates will have CT or CV Surgery experience.
Requirements:
> Must be a graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program and authorized by the State of Washington.
> One to two years of experience as a Surgery PA is preferred; however, a motivated new graduate with strong surgical rotations may be considered.
> Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in order to collaborate with patients, families, physicians, staff and community health workers.
> Ability to be self-directive and demonstrate initiative in addressing responsibilities of the position.
> Expert clinical judgment to function in an independent .
