Providence is calling a Physician Practice Manager I (Adult Gastroenterology) to the Providence Medical Group in Spokane, WA.
We are seeking a people-focused and financially astute individual to oversee day-to-day operations of the Adult Gastroenterology Clinic.
In this position you will:
Manage 2 locations with 5 providers (total of 9 staff)
Work directly with entire physician services team to ensure the best possible patient e! xperience.
Focus on the clinical aspects of the clini! c
Enhance the coordination of care and customer service for both patients and physicians, including implementation of best-practice workflows and customer service models.
Create, present, and operationalize the business plan in coordination with the leadership team to include care delivery, process improvement, marketing, public relations, and referral strategies.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years related experience OR 6 years related experience
2 years practice management experience
Knowledge and understanding of procedural/surgical practices
Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience, preferably with Epic
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Master’s degree in business or health care management
Prior experience in an ambulatory setting
Prior experience in a G.I. ambulatory surgery center
