Description: Cascade Valley Hospitals is presently looking of OR Technician right now, this position will be placed in Washington. Process/Role Mission: Under the guidance of the registered nurse, is responsible for the care and safety of the patients under his or her care. Ensures effective communication between self, case team members, area coordinators, the patient, other staff, physicians, and other processes. The Surgery Tech is dedicated to providing quality service in a timely, courteous, and cost effective manner. Position Prerequisites: Current Washington State Surgical Technician license required. ORCST certification or eligible preferred as a result of being a graduate of an accredited school of surgical technology. Possesses a thorough knowledge of the nursing process. Demonstrates ability to provide high quality patient care (by reference checks). Communicates and works effectively with people. One (1) year experience preferred; will consider new graduate. 12th grade reading level and math skills. CPR Certification.
