Director opening in Seattle, Washington. JOB SUMMARY: : Largely self-directed manager responsible for Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) clinical quality/process improvement program. Provides oversight to ensure that ASC Quality program meets current regulatory requirements. Evaluates, analyzes and manages data related to clinical quality.
Objectively identifies trends that warrant evaluation or action. Facilitates improvement teams and modifies processes to improve care in a continuous manner. Manages and resolves identified problems using a collaborative multidisciplinary, approach. Designs, organizes, implements and evaluates education programs for physicians and clinical staff.
Works collaboratively with Quality department and Patient Safety and Risk department.A key challenge for this position will be revamping the current program. The candidate needs to be creative, innovative, great with data extraction and how to parlay that into usable information. Someone skilled with adult education.
