Blood Collection Services Job #6867 - Federal Way Puget Sound Blood Center is recruiting for a personable, professional Registered Nurse to help us meet the ongoing blo! od transfusion needs of patients in our community at our Donation Centers. This interesting position will utilize both your clinical and your interpersonal skills by performing whole blood and apheresis platelet collections from blood donors, as well as from patients who are donating blood for their own upcoming surgeries. You will have the opportunity to work with other staff to prioritize the workflow to ensure an efficient and smooth operation of the blood donor center. Our excellent training program will provide you with the knowledge needed to perform whole blood and automated blood collections and provide clinical knowledge for staff and blood donors regarding donor suitability and/or donor reactions. Days and hours of operation vary by location.

Requirements include: cur! rent Washington State RN license and ability to lift and carry! up to 60 lbs. This position is based out of our Federal Way Center.
