We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Nurse Pracitioner to join the Surgery Department. The ARNP is a member of the interdisciplinary surgical team providing services at UWMC. Responsible for providing services independently and collaboratively with! appropriate privileges, including initial and ongoing assessm! ent, diagnosis and treatment of patientâs medical, physical and psychosocial status in the inpatient and outpatient settings.
Requirements:
1. Current and valid WA State Registered Nurse Licensure.
2. Masters Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
3. Certified ARNP
4. Proven excellence working in an interdisciplinary collaborative team environment.
5. Effective interpersonal, leadership, and critical thinking skills, as well clinical expertise in pediatric patient care.
6. Training and experience in the provision of high risk infant assessment and follow up services including initial assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and management of patients physical and development needs.
7. Participates as a key memeber of the interdisciplinary team through the development of collaborative and innovative practices and evaluation of patient care outcomes.
8. Evaluates quality metrics for ! the CHDD Team through partipation in teh development of CHDD HRIF quality indicators.
9. Provides other duties as requested which are consistenet with teh advanced practice role in the clinic setting.

MINUMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Current and valid state Registered Nurse Licensure in Washington State
2. Graduate Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner
3. Nationally Certified ARNP with DEA
4. Proven excellence working in a interdisciplinary collaborative team environment
5. Effective interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and clinical expertise in patient care.
6. Training and experience in the provision of care for surgical patients including initial assessment, diagnostic evaluation, and management of pre and post surgical patients preferred.
