We are currently seeking a
Patient Care Technician for our Progressive Cardiac Care Department (South 4).
South 4 is a 36 bed unit which includes post open heart/vascular surgery, intermediate, telemetry and stroke.
The Patient Care Technician will provide direct patient care to patients and their families under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.
This is an ON Call/ Per Diem
position.
Qualifications
·
High school graduate or equivalent.
·
Completion of a Certified Nursing As! sistant Training Program or equivalent documented nursing trai! ning experience.
·
NA-C required and HCA-A (Overlake Hospital will sponsor this licensure).
·
Health Care Provider CPR Certification.
·
One year recent experience in a health care setting involving patient contact preferred.
·
Knowledge of medical terminology and computer familiarity is preferred.
·
Excellent customer service, oral and written communication skills.
