Job Summary
Responsible for analyzing competitor pricing matched with market expectations to determine the ideal target price for products of the business.

Job Duties
- Collect and analyze data relating to current and predicted market conditions, cost overhead or competition pricing in order to recommend pricing strategies or standardize pricing guidelines
- Balance customer needs or values with expected product demand to maximize revenue, market share or profit margin
- Model pricing adjustments to predict the impact of pricing changes on organizational performance
- May provide customized pricing to the sales team
- Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
- Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
- Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Perform work under minimal supervision
- Pricing Analyst experience
- Analyze large datasets
- Handle complex issues and problems and refer only the most complex issues to higher-level staff
- Possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter
- Provide leadership, coaching and/or mentoring to a subordinate group
- Typically require a bachelor's degree and 2 to 4 years of experience
- Intermediate verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Detail oriented
- Ability to meet deadlines
