Server Ambassador

 

OAKBERRY CA, an açai company, is seeking a friendly Service Ambassador to join our team! This position plays a big role in creating and providing the best customer experience and satisfaction by serving our delicious smoothies and açai bowls to our valued customers. We are looking for an individual with exceptional customer service skills, high energy, and a passion for healthy eating.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve smoothies and açai bowls in accordance with OAKBERRY CA's standards;

• Greet customers and provide a warm and friendly environment;
• Educate customers about the health benefits of our products and answer any questions they may have;
• Manage inventory and restock supplies as needed;
• Operate the card register - we do not accept cash;
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the proper handling of food and equipment;
• Assist with opening and closing duties as needed;
• Maintain a thorough understanding of all menu items and ingredients to assist customers with dietary restrictions and preferences;
• Ensure that all food and beverage items are made to the highest quality and presentation standards;
• Clean and sanitize equipment, work surfaces, and utensils regularly to maintain a safe and hygienic environment.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously;
• Previous experience in a customer service or food service role (preferred);
• Basic math skills (preferred);
• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with customers;
• Passion for healthy eating and promoting a healthy lifestyle;
• Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date on all company policies, procedures, and standards;
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain a high level of accuracy;
• Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues;
• Comfortable working in a standing position for extended periods of time;
• Food Handler Certificate or willingness to obtain one.

Details

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time.
Pay: $16.90 per hour + supplemental pay (Tips).
Shift: 6h30min (with 30min unpaid break).
Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
