Job Summary The Regulatory Affairs Coordinator is responsible for coordinating regulatory, patient safety, and research activities for the entire hospital. Key areas of responsibility include oversight of The Joint Commission, Washington State Department of Health, and Commission on Cancer survey activity. The Regulatory Affairs Coordinator also serves as liaison with the UW Medicine Research Programs. Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree required in a health related discipline Current Washington State licensure as applicable to the incumbent's education and health care discipline Minimum of 3 years clinical experience in an institutional setting Able to work well with others with collaborative, team-based, multi-disciplinary approach Must have broad organizational knowledge base, to be effective in planning, implementing and evaluating programs that impact the entire hospital Knowledge of Joint Commission and other regulatory requirements Able to provide clinical input into the care delivery process Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree 1 year previous management or supervisory experience Project management and process improvement skills Interested yet?
