Responsibilities:
Barista in a licensed Starbucks store providing prompt, efficient and legendary customer service to all guests. Prepares espresso beverages, serves food and other beverages; cashiers and maintains store and equipment.
Qualifications:
Education
High school diploma or GED equivalent is required
Licensure, Registration, Certification
Current Washington State Food Handlerâs Permit is required.
If required to drive, must have a valid Washington State driverâs license and an excellent driving record.
Special Training/Skills
Able to learn and operate store equipment, computer/POS register, and bar equipment.
Able to deliver legendary customer service to all customers by acting with a customer comes first attitude and connecting with the customer; discovers and ! responds to customer needs.
Able to maintain a calm demeanor d! uring periods of high volume or unusual events to keep store operating to standard and to set a positive example for the team, able to anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and customers for cues.
Able to provide quality beverages, whole bean, and food products consistently for all customers by adhering to all recipe and presentation standards; able to quickly learn and implement promotional programs.
Work Experience
Previous experience preparing a wide variety of espresso drinks in a large-scale retail or healthcare food operation is preferred.
Physical Abilities
For the efficient delivery of services to customers, this job requires sufficient English-language skills to understand and be understood when interacting with customers, visitors, patients, coworkers, and management.
