Registered nurses are responsible for planning, delegating, coordinating and evaluating the nursing care of adult patients,! 14 years and older. The registered nurse is directly accountable and responsible for the quality of nursing care rendered.
EDUCATION REQUIRED :
Current registration as a RN in the State of Washington; Bachelors Degree in nursing preferred.
Additional education, certification & current education enrollment may substitute for a Bachelors Degree
LICENSE / CERTIFICATION / REGISTRATIONS REQUIRED :
We accept licensure as a Washington State RN as a basic level of competency.
BLS certification. ACLS/PALS required based on area of assignment.
NRP required based on area of assignment.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
Must have previous related experience.
Certification as a health care interpreter in languages other than English a plus (Spanish, Mam, sign, etc.)
Additional Experience for Surgery : RN candidate must have strong surgical circulator skills in Cardiovascular. Must have h! igh clinical standards, effective communication skills and be ! able to work harmoniously with a diverse team. Must have WA licensure. Some Call coverage is required. Open Heart experience Preferrable.
