The Ocean Beach Hospital is a 15 bed not-for-profit Critical Access Hospital located on the rural Long Beach Peninsula. The Long Beach Peninsula is home to a new national park, two historic lighthouses, renowned restaurants, cranberry bogs, and oyster farms and is saturated with natural beauty and history, art shops, horseback riding, and fishing charters; it makes for an are! a with something for everyone.

The hospital provides access to advanced imaging technology, Laboratory, MRI, CT scan, and Life Flight capabilities for major trauma transports. We have a strong network of primary care and sub-specialty providers on staff including a full-time Oncology Infusion program. The hospital works toward constantly improving its facilities and acquiring new technology to keep pace with the advances of health care and has recently implemented an Electronic Medical Records. We offer general surgery and eye surgery. As a team player, the ability to manage self and work with all departments in a professional and courteous manor is necessary.
This position requires the Certified Nursing Assistant to be able to work on the medical surgical floor caring for a variety of patients of all ages. During the shift this position will take direction from the Charge Nurse on duty, the Nurse caring for the pa! tient, and the Float Nurse when working Med/Surg. The person in this position will need to be flexible, self motivated and able to change direction to fill in where needed at any given time. The person in this position will need to be able to work as part of the Nursing Team as well as accomplish assigned duties independently. Communication with both the staff and the patients in a friendly, caring and professional manner is expected. Accurate vital signs including weights and I’s and O’s are required.
Qualifications: Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant with current WA license and a valid CPR card. Past Med/Surg and ER experience preferred. Knowledge of Healthland preferred.
