CVOR- Surgical Technologist (CST / ST) 26 Week Travel Assignment ($24.00 p/! hr. with a $2000 completion bonus for a 26 week assignment)

26 week assignment (spend the spring and summer in beautiful Washington State
Number of Heart rooms 4
Number of Cardiac Surgeons 4
Number of Cardiac Groups 1
Numder of cases per year Appx. 950-1000 (Nice size program)
99% of cases are on pump cases
Call per month appx 10-12 days
No Transplants
No Pedi Hearts
Will not be rquired to float to General Surgery
8, 10 and 12 hr shifts
Shift is 11am - 11 pm, (12 hour shift)

Strong Cardiac scrubbing, a wide variety of cardiovascular procedures including CABG, off-pump CABG, AVR, MVR repair and replacement, Ascending Aorta, Aortic Root Replacement. Must demonstrate ability to work well in the cardiac team environment, participate as a member of the team as needed. Call required with most assignments.

5 + years of Cardiac OR experience required. Experienced 1st & 2nd scrubbing surgical technicians are in demand. Cardiac team experience REQUIRED. Adherence to professional behavior a must in all interactions with patients, family, staff and physicians.
Performing established scrubing procedures for individuals or groups of patients, utilizing age specific guidelines in a peri-operative setting. Competency in sterile technique, procedure instrumentation, and equipment. !
