We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate care to breastfeeding women.
In this position you will:
Provide lactation education, assessment, problem identification, and suggest interventions for problem resolution to staff and inpatient and outpatient women.
Demonstrate strong teaching and communication skills.
Demonstrate decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure
Three (3) years registered nursing experience in maternal child setting in an acute care setting
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Current Washington State Registered Nurse license
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
Current Internation! al Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)
Prior! experience with electronic medical records charting
