A well-respected, not-for-profit hospital in gorgeous Western Washington is actively seeking a Nurse Educator of Perianesthesia services.!
The Surgery-Perianesthesia Nurse Educator will assess the learning needs of surgical staff in the Peri-Anesthesia Units: pre-op & post-op. The Educator of Surgical Services will develop and implement evidence-based education programs for all surgery/anesthesia associated departments.
In addition to new hire unit education, the PACU Educator will also collaborate with Surgery Nurse Managers to create a learning environment in Surgical services. The Nurse Educator of Surgery will report directly to the Manager of Perioperative Services and will share resources with other Nurse Educators in the hospital. This hospital is known for it's specialized surgical services including: joint replacement, spinal surgeries, and invasive coronary, vascular, and gastroenterology interventions.
