r at Swedish First Hill in Seattle, WA
We are seeking a compassionate RN who is dedicated to providing nursing care to Oncology patients. The nurseâs understanding of the pathophysiology of cancer as well as the major treatment therapies enables him/her to participate fully in all the phases of care for the patient and their significant support system.
In this position you will:
Be accountable and responsible for providing infusions (including chemotherapy and biologic therapy), blood products, and procedures to the ambulatory patient.
Organize and collaborate the care between the physicianâs clinic and the Swedish Cancer Institute (SCI) Treatment Center.
Provide nursing care adapted to individual patient needs bas! ed on the nursing process, which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Required
qualifications for this position include:
Nursing Baccalaureate degree (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing, or must attain a BSN within 5 years of hire
Current Washington State Registered Nursing license
Completion of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course
Current BLS certification
Current Oncology or Infusion Oncology nursing experience
Preferred
qualifications for this position include:
Current Washington State Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
IV Therapy certification
