Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Director Special Events Foundation at First Hill in Seattle, WA.
The Director Special Events Foundation is responsible ! for the planning, developing, directing and implementing Foundation special events.
In this position you will:
- Work collaboratively with other Swedish Foundation team members to ensure special events achieve fundraising goals
- Manager all fundraising and production details for special events
- Develop event themes
- Implement fundraising plan and maintain event schedule and timeline
- Secure and oversee vendors and security
Bachelors degree
Previous special event planning experience
Able to work well under pressure
Able to manage multiple projects with deadlines.
Working schedule of occasional evenings and weekends
Experience working with volunteers
Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Non Profit healthcare experience

Swedish/First Hill has one of the most active and advanced birthing programs in Washington state and houses a Level III neonatal intensive-care unit. More surgeries are performed each year at Swedish/First Hill than at any other facility in the region; volumes include more total joint replacements than any other medical center in the state.
