Our SURGERY CLINIC has outstanding opportunities for FULL-TIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT. As part of their daily duties, Medical Assistants assi! st health care professionals in the examination and treatment ! of patients in a clinical setting by performing duties such as preparation of patient and environment for treatment, conducting basic laboratory and electrocardiogram tests, care of the patient post-treatments, patient education, and clerical reception functions.

Competitive candidates will have graduated from a Medical Assistant program; exhibit clear and concise communications skills, both verbal and written; and at least on year of experience providing direct patient care in a clinic setting.

REQUIREMENTS:
Completion of a Medical Assistant course accredited by the American Association of Medical Assistants or the Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation (CAHEA);

OR !

high school graduation or equivalent AND one year of experience providing direct patient care in a health care setting

OR

equivalent education/experience.

ADDITIONAL DEPARTMENTAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be certified as an MA or have Interim status
