Location: Spokane Washington

Description: Providence Health & Services is at the momment seeking for Registered Nurse â€" Medical Oncology right now, this vacancy will be placed in Washington. Providence is calling a 0.7 FTE Registered Nurse to working 8-hour night shifts (11:00pm-7:30am) Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children’s Hospital in Spokane, WA.

We are seeking a compassionate RN who is dedicated to providing nursing care to Oncology patients.

In this position you will:
Assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care needs for patients with cancer.

Administer prescrib! ed medications, change dressings, clean wounds and monitor vit! al signs..

Care for patients requiring long term pain management and those receiving chemotherapy.

Demonstrate strong teaching and communication skills with patients, family members, and multidisciplinary medical professionals.

Demonstrate critical thinking, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.

Required qualifications for this position include:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing

Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Washington State

Preferred qualifications for this position include:
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN)

Current Oncology certification

Current Chemotherapy certification

Recent experience in Medical Oncology setting
