Swedish Medical Center is looking for a Transporter Per Diem at the First Hill campus in Seattle, WA.
The Transporter is responsible for the efficient and timely movement of patients as directed and other duties assigned by the manager.
In this position you will:
- Transport and lift patients within prescribed time constraints
qualifications for this position include:
Have the physical stamina to work 8-10 hour days, spending much of the time walking
! Ability to read, write, understand & communicate clearly in t! he English language
Basic life support skills
Preferred
qualifications for this position include:
Experience in patient care

The 697-bed tertiary-care center on the Swedish/First Hill campus is the flagship of the Swedish health-care system. Swedish/First Hill has one of the most active and advanced birthing programs in Washington state and houses a Level III neonatal intensive-care unit. More surgeries are performed each year at Swedish/First Hill than at any other facility in the region; volumes include more total joint replacements than any other medical center in the state.
