We are moving to Washington in June/July and seeking a nanny for our son (4 yrs old in July) and our infant daughter (9 months in July) near Graham. We are hoping to start ! someone the last week or so of July as part time to help ease the transition for our kids. It will go to full time 1 Aug.
We would prefer someone who could help out with light housekeeping (laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc) as we are both busy. We have two dogs (lab and husky) so we need a dog friendly person.
Transportation to/from our house is on our own, but we will provide a car during the day for any outings with the children. We are hoping to start our son in preK about 3 days a week so we would need someone to drop him off and pick him up. Will we look into zoo and museum passes for additional activities to keep variety in the days.
Our son can be a challenge at times and is very active so we are looking for someone that is interactive and willing to work on basic academics, arts and crafts, games, and most importantly likes to take the kids outside so he can burn energy and explore. He does not stop and no longer requires naps in order for! us to get him down at night. He will keep you on your toes an! d laughing but he requires structure so this is more then a babysitting job.
Our daughter is our miracle child who was born with an undetected heart defect (found on day 2) and survived open heart surgery at 8 days old. She is a fighter and has recovered to a super sweet and happy baby. She has been the complete opposite of her brother personality wise.
We have another son who will be 13 in July and mostly self-sufficient. All we ask is you remind him to do his homework and keep a little bit of an eye on him.
As we are both employed we are looking for full time help. On average expect hours to run 0600-1700 depending on the demands of our work schedule. Some days will be less.
We will negotiate salary based on experience. You can expect to make between $1600 to $2000 month. This job will most likely last for up to three years.
